How to create a new webpage on yourprofitgrowth.com

1. In this exercise we are showing you how to create  a new webpage (in fact we will show you this page being created) First step is to log into your CMS system and click on Create Page as shown below

 

2  Select a page name for your new webpage and be sure to leave no spaces in between words otherwise the page will not display.  Be sure to name your page in the format shown below to assist google in defining new words and in doing so help your page position

3. Choose a name for the menu link that will display on your website (Don't make it too long)

4. Give your webpage a Title. This is very important for the search engines and the title should be  one sentence that sums up your webpage and also reads well with keywords included. The title appears in the tab on Internet Explorer Browser window

5. Next give your page a more detailed description but keep it under 200 characters and make it read well and include some of your keywords

6. Add in your keywords. Keep these relevant to your page and your market. Do not include everything under the sun here as it will confuse google search engine bots. Keep it simple and short (less than 200 characters)

7. Robots (Leave as default) This is for advanced users 

8. Choose if you wish to activate the page or not. If you activate it the page (YES) the page link name will display in the menu. If you do not activate the page (NO) the page will display only if someone is given the link to it or if you place  a link to it from another page

 

9. Choose link position. This is where the link for the page will display on your website, i.e at the top or the bottom sides etc. In this case I have choosen bottom footer (limit 12)

10. Choose if you wish the page to have a header and footer 

11. Choose the template you wish for. It is wise to have the same template for your site to ensure conformity. This site is built using Template 4.

12. Choose Template position (Best left as default for beginners) 

13. Click on Create Page and you are done. Well done. You have just created your first google friendly web page
